Pak Gusu is a Lahore-based cleanroom manufacturer and the Pakistan technical partner of GUSU Purification (China), supplying modular cleanroom panels, doors, windows, pass-through chambers, LED lighting and HVAC-ready envelopes to clients across the Gulf Cooperation Council. We design and fabricate to EU-GMP Annex 1 and ISO 14644 in our own facility, then export complete, pre-engineered systems to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. Optional on-site installation and commissioning supervision is available at additional cost through our travelling teams.

This page is the regional hub for buyers, consultants and contractors evaluating cleanroom supply into the GCC. It explains how our export-plus-install model works, the ports and Incoterms we ship under, the standards every project is built to comply with, and the sectors we serve. From here you can reach the country-specific guidance for each Gulf market and start a project with a manufacturer that combines GUSU's global cleanroom engineering with competitive, freight-friendly Pakistan production.

How our export-plus-install model works across the GCC

We are a manufacturer, not a local Gulf contractor. Components are engineered, cut and quality-checked in Lahore, packed for sea freight and shipped to your nominated GCC port. This keeps unit costs and lead times competitive while still delivering systems that are designed to meet EU-GMP and ISO 14644 expectations. On-site installation, mechanical fit-out supervision and validation support are offered as separate, scoped services so you can choose turnkey delivery or supply-only.

A typical engagement runs through four stages:

  • Design and submission support: layouts, classification mapping (ISO 5-8), and documentation packs your local consultant can use for authority submission.
  • Manufacture and factory checks: panels, doors, pass-throughs and lighting built to the approved drawings, with pre-shipment inspection.
  • Export logistics: CIF or DAP shipment to Jebel Ali, Dammam, Hamad or other Gulf ports, with packing lists and certificates of conformity.
  • Optional install and commissioning: our supervisors join your local fit-out crew for assembly, sealing and pre-validation checks.

We do not hold a Gulf office or local licence and we do not claim completed Gulf projects. Where local permits, civil defence sign-off or regulator approval are required, your in-country partner leads that step and we supply the technical evidence to support it.

Ports, Incoterms and lead times into the Gulf

Pakistan's proximity to the Arabian Gulf is a genuine logistics advantage: sea transit from Karachi to the major Gulf hubs is short relative to East Asian sourcing, which shortens replenishment cycles and reduces freight exposure on bulky cleanroom panels.

We commonly ship under these routes and terms:

  • UAE: Jebel Ali Port (Dubai), typically CIF or DAP to your site or freight zone.
  • Saudi Arabia: King Abdul Aziz Port, Dammam, for the Eastern Province and onward road haul to Riyadh and Jeddah.
  • Qatar: Hamad Port, south of Doha, under CIF or DAP.
  • Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman: nearest commercial seaport, with DAP available to named delivery points.

Incoterms are agreed per order. CIF suits buyers who clear and haul locally; DAP suits clients who want delivered-to-site pricing. Indicative manufacturing lead time is a few weeks for standard modular scopes after drawing approval, plus sea transit and any installation window. Exact timing depends on project size, finish specification and HVAC interface, and is confirmed in your quotation.

Standards, classifications and regulatory alignment

Every Pak Gusu cleanroom is engineered to be compliant with the standards Gulf authorities and clients expect, so your local submission rests on credible technical evidence. We build validation-ready envelopes and support your documentation, while in-country approval remains with you and your consultant.

The standards framework we design against includes:

  • ISO 14644 particle classification, covering ISO 5 to ISO 8 for most pharmaceutical, medical-device and healthcare applications.
  • EU-GMP Annex 1 grades, where Grade A/B approximate ISO 5, Grade C approximates ISO 7 and Grade D approximates ISO 8.
  • WHO GMP principles, ISO 13485 for medical-device environments, and GSO conformity expectations for products entering the Gulf market.

We align documentation to the relevant regulator for each market: SFDA in Saudi Arabia; MOHAP, DHA in Dubai and DoH in Abu Dhabi for the UAE; Dubai Civil Defence for fire and life-safety interfaces; and the Ministry of Public Health in Qatar. We describe our systems as designed to meet or compliant with these frameworks and validation-ready for submission. We never represent ourselves as SFDA approved, GMP certified or authority licensed, because those approvals are issued to the operating facility, not to a component supplier.

Sectors we serve and what we manufacture

GCC demand for controlled environments is driven by healthcare expansion, local pharmaceutical and nutraceutical production, medical-device assembly, food and beverage safety, electronics and ongoing laboratory and R&D investment across the region's economic diversification programmes.

We manufacture the full envelope and supporting hardware:

  • Modular cleanroom wall and ceiling panels, including PIR, rockwool and honeycomb cores.
  • Flush cleanroom doors, vision windows, and dynamic and static pass-through chambers.
  • Cleanroom LED lighting, aluminium profiles, coving and sealing systems.
  • HVAC-ready interfaces for filtration, pressure cascade and airflow control fitted by your mechanical contractor.

These serve pharmaceutical and nutraceutical plants, hospitals and operating-theatre suites, medical and surgical device manufacturers, food and beverage processors, electronics manufacturing and laboratory or research facilities throughout the Gulf.

Why a GUSU-partnered Pakistan manufacturer for the GCC

Choosing Pak Gusu gives Gulf buyers GUSU Purification's international cleanroom engineering combined with Pakistan's cost-competitive, regionally close manufacturing base. You get the same standards-driven design discipline as higher-cost suppliers, with shorter Arabian Gulf freight legs and a single accountable manufacturer for the building envelope.

Key reasons clients across the GCC engage us:

  • Technical depth through the GUSU China partnership, applied to EU-GMP and ISO 14644 scopes.
  • Competitive landed cost from Pakistan production plus efficient sea freight to Gulf ports.
  • Flexible commercial model: supply-only export, or export with on-site installation supervision at additional cost.
  • Submission-ready documentation that supports your work with SFDA, MOHAP, DHA, DoH, Dubai Civil Defence or the Qatar MoPH.

Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about cleanrooms, standards, cost and how Pak Gusu supplies and installs across the GCC.

Does Pak Gusu have an office in the GCC?

No. Pak Gusu manufactures in Lahore, Pakistan, and exports cleanroom systems to the GCC; we do not hold a Gulf office or local licence. We ship to ports such as Jebel Ali, Dammam and Hamad, and offer optional on-site installation supervision at extra cost. Local permits and authority approvals are led by your in-country partner.

Which GCC ports and Incoterms do you ship under?

We commonly ship to Jebel Ali in the UAE, King Abdul Aziz Port in Dammam for Saudi Arabia, and Hamad Port in Qatar, with delivery to the nearest seaport for Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. Terms are agreed per order, typically CIF for buyers who clear locally or DAP for delivered-to-site pricing confirmed in your quotation.

Are your cleanrooms approved by SFDA or other Gulf regulators?

No supplier holds those approvals, because they are issued to the operating facility, not to a component manufacturer. Our systems are designed to meet and comply with EU-GMP Annex 1 and ISO 14644, and we provide validation-ready documentation to support your submission to regulators such as SFDA, MOHAP, DHA, DoH or the Qatar MoPH.

Do you install the cleanroom or only supply it?

Both options are available. The standard model is supply-only export of pre-engineered components to your GCC port. On-site installation, fit-out supervision and commissioning support are offered as separate, scoped services at additional cost, where our travelling teams work alongside your local contractor to assemble, seal and pre-validate the cleanroom.

How do EU-GMP grades relate to ISO 14644 classes?

EU-GMP Grade A and B approximate ISO 5, Grade C approximates ISO 7, and Grade D approximates ISO 8. Most pharmaceutical, medical-device and healthcare cleanrooms in the GCC fall within ISO 5 to ISO 8. We map your classification target to both frameworks during design so the documentation supports your regulatory submission.

What lead time should we expect for a GCC project?

Indicative manufacturing lead time is a few weeks for standard modular scopes after drawing approval, plus sea transit from Pakistan to your Gulf port and any installation window. Pakistan's short Arabian Gulf freight legs help shorten this versus East Asian sourcing. Exact timing depends on size, finish and HVAC interface, and is confirmed in your quotation.
