Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about cleanrooms, standards, cost and how Pak Gusu supplies and installs across the GCC.

What ISO cleanroom class is needed for electronics manufacturing in the Gulf?

Electronics cleanrooms typically range from ISO 5 to ISO 8 under ISO 14644-1. Photolithography and semiconductor wafer work need ISO 5, while PCB assembly often uses ISO 7 to ISO 8 zoning. ISO 5 allows a maximum of 3,520 particles of 0.5 microns per cubic metre. Pak Gusu designs each class to match your process and ships across the GCC.

Can Pak Gusu export and build an ESD-safe electronics cleanroom in the UAE or Saudi Arabia?

Yes. We manufacture ESD-safe panels, pass chambers and conductive flooring in Pakistan and export to Gulf ports such as Jebel Ali, Dammam and Hamad Port under CIF or DAP terms. On-site installation and supervision are available at extra cost. Projects are engineered for ISO 14644 and ANSI/ESD S20.20 compliance with our partner GUSU Purification.

What is an ESD-safe cleanroom and why does electronics manufacturing need one?

An ESD-safe cleanroom controls electrostatic discharge that can instantly destroy sensitive semiconductors and PCBs. It uses conductive or static-dissipative flooring, grounded wall systems, ESD pass chambers and humidity control, verified against ANSI/ESD S20.20. Pak Gusu supplies ESD-safe finishes, grounded epoxy flooring and ESD audit support for electronics facilities across the Gulf.

How do cleanrooms protect semiconductor yield from contamination?

At nanometre geometries, a single airborne particle can bridge circuits and cause immediate yield loss. Cleanrooms use HEPA-filtered air, high air change rates of 240 to 480 per hour, ISO 5 mini-environments and one-way material flow to control particles. Pak Gusu engineers pressure cascades and flow-first layouts to protect semiconductor and optics yield for Gulf manufacturers.

Are Pak Gusu electronics cleanrooms validation-ready for Gulf standards?

Yes. Our electronics cleanrooms are designed to be compliant with ISO 14644, ANSI/ESD S20.20 and applicable GSO standards, with validation-ready documentation. We provide ISO 14644 particle validation and ESD audit support so you can certify the facility locally. Pak Gusu does not issue Gulf approvals but builds your cleanroom to meet them.

Why is vibration and humidity control important in semiconductor cleanrooms?

Precision processes like photolithography, wafer bonding and optical assembly are sensitive to vibration, which blurs features and ruins alignment, while stable humidity prevents static and corrosion. Pak Gusu incorporates vibration-controlled ISO 5 mini-environments and tightly managed RH into electronics cleanrooms exported to fabrication and optics operations throughout the GCC.
